The value of this Commando release also doesn't stack up to the competition even within the Wii Shop itself, as the Genesis port of MERCS from a couple of years ago -- listed as Wolf of the Battlefield: MERCS if you go searching for it -- is on sale for the same price of eight dollars and offers a lot more content.
Capcom is releasing two of its classic titles, SONSON and Wolf of the Battlefield: Commando, onto Nintendo's Virtual Console. The game publisher did this to challenge and introduce a new generation of gamers to the classic titles.
