Played the demo. Didnt dig it too much.

Masamori Sumimura4872d ago

its typical half assed japanese hack and slash ala Dynasty warrior.

I think this game was only done to go side and side with the upcoming movie. The game is way too awful for it to be a serious attempt by the same ones bringing us the PSP games...

TreMillz4872d ago

sad seeing my fave anime series get butchered on its first ps3 attempt...hopefully the next game is a fighting one like ultimate storm 2 or the psp heat the soul games

Tech-Gaming: Bleach: Soul Resurrección Review

Although familiarity with Kubo-san’s work would certainly improve a player’s appreciation of Bleach: Soul Resurrección, it’s hardly a prerequisite for enjoyment.

Pretty good review, if you ask me. The score may be a bit high, but DesertEagle's a DW nut.

deserteaglexix4661d ago

I wouldn't say a "nut", just a regular old fan ;)

I lost interest in Bleach. Seemed like the storyline wouldn't really go anywhere.

rdgneoz34661d ago

I lost interest after Aizen was defeated. The current arc never really kept my attention.

nanometric4661d ago

I never got to Aizen being defeated, I stopped around the time when they defeated Espadas No. 2. It just got too effin ridiculous to watch a single fight get panned out to some 10+ episodes with fillers in between.

deserteaglexix4661d ago (Edited 4661d ago )

I've watched post-Aizen episodes but like you said, the passion seemed to be missing from Bleach at that point. Maybe once Kubo-san gets around to making Aizen escape from prison, things will get back on track.

totally- stretching fights is what killed Bleach, IMO.

GamesRadar: Bleach: Soul Resurreccion Review

Everyone has their reason for why they fall in love with a particular anime. Whether it's the flashy, high-action battles, an unpredictable story, or well-rounded, intriguing characters, there's always a part that some fans cling to more than others. Bleach could have been a Dragon Ball Z clone, but it instead featured excellent character interaction - particularly, the witty banter to make it stand out from the pack. Now, strip this interaction from Bleach and leave it just with its combat. Still interested? Then Bleach: Soul Resurreccion should stay in your good graces; however, for those who revel in the eclectic personalities of Ichigo and company, they’re nowhere to be found here.

Gematsu Review: Bleach: Soul Resurreccion

Gematsu reviews Bleach: Soul Resurreccion for PlayStation 3.

JewelTheif4664d ago

I had a feeling the game wouldn't do so well.

rabidpancakeburglar4664d ago

I stopped reading after the first paragraph. I think that this game will do well as review scores so far have been better than this.

DrRichtofen4664d ago

Its actually a well justified review if read the whole thing.

Neko_Mega4664d ago

Wow I don't see how theirs a problem with the story mode, I think if you can keep up with whats going on then you shouldn't have a problem understanding it.

I just love how if it is a anime game then it some how flys right over peoples head and they say you won't know what is going on in the story.

frjoethesecond4664d ago

Yeah, Thats an annoying trend in reviews alright. It's clearly not going to be a problem if the player enjoys the anime it's based on.

Neko_Mega4664d ago

I didn't mean just fans, I know a girl that doesn't care for anime buy she wants this game.

Plus the newest Gundam game, moatly because it is her type of game.
