GameStyle - ydrophobia had a lot of potential, but was full of faults. Credit to the developers then who listened to feedback and made lots of changes, but were they for the better?
It seems that third person action thriller, Hydrophobia has received another price drop this week taking it down to a mere 400 MSP. The reduction follows the news last week that developers Dark Energy Digital, may be going under.
So is there an actual ending to this game?
I played it a few months ago and got to the "end" where it just abruptly ended. Nothing was resolved. It felt like there was still a chapter or two left but nothing.
It's easy to say "Buy It", but when you're strapped for cash which games are the best to grab on sale?
My people should play Shuggy. Great game.
Also I can't wait for the new Trenched DLC.
What you're about to read is the original version of the interview (therefore in ENGLISH) that was recently translated and published on Eurogamer Italy. This exclusive interview by one of Eurogamer.it's editors to Pete Jones, president of Dark Energy Digital, focuses on the Hydrophobia's latest version, Prophecy, on the Darknet, the new in-game feedback system and of course on the impressive HydroEngine. Some questions obviously invole PSN's recent problems, the future of indie development and some exclusive news about the company's future plans.
