It may seem that I’m being overly harsh on the title and perhaps I am, but after loving the original I wanted more of the same from the sequel. The changes are something much more in line with a new franchise based on the Echochrome idea but don’t seem to sit well with the series. It’s a shame really as the Move works well and it would have been really interesting to use the controller to move the environment around.
Game Idealist reveal their list of the ten top PlayStation 3 games that require a PlayStation Move controller.
Wow. This article is like 5 years too late?
And also? The Wonderbook games, namely the two Harry Potter ones, Book of Spells and Book of Potions, were probably the best Move games... yet this article doesn't mention them.
Atleast it had tumble listed..
I enjoyed the dead space and resident evil light gun games with the move.
PS3 Attitude: "Move Mind Benders is a somewhat surprising release from Sony; a compilation of Move-enabled PlayStation Network games, all available on a single Blu-Ray disc.
The package includes three of the best puzzle games on the PlayStation Store – echochrome ii, Lemmings and Tumble."
For those who don't own any of these games, I highly recommend them.
Echochrome II and Tumble are some of the best motion-based games on ANY platform. Tumble looks fantastic in 3D, by the way.
Critical Gamer writes: Playstation Move has never really taken off as well as Sony had hoped after the mainstream success of the Nintendo Wii, partly due to the lack of games supporting it. Move Mind Benders brings three PSN titles together on one disc, with puzzlers Tumble, echochrome ii, and a newly Move-enabled version of the classic Lemmings sparking some life into the glowing embers of the Move controller.

Yeah you are being harsh. You loved the original and hate this one because it is different? Move works great and the concept is amazing but it should of had a title like what? Shadowman? This review is terrible. I play the heck out of the demo, and I can tell this is a brilliant puzzle game. Casting shadows on the wall is something never done in a puzzle game. I call bollocks on this review.
Can I play Echochrome 2 with a Dualshock3? If the answer is no then you should see why motion gaming sucks ass. I wonder how many other sequels to games in the future will REQUIRE motion control.
another reviewer blinded by the prequel of a game instead of rating it on its own merits. I can't really fault him though for personal choice as I loved the original a lot because of the difficulty and complexity of the game. Even as an easier game it should not get such a low rating even especially since the difficulty was the only major negative he mentioned.
what a harsh review..... for me i like the improvements made by echochrome ii, i really enjoyed the demo and on the demo alone i would have given it an 8/10 atleast
