First X-Men Destiny Details Emerge

If this game tells us to pick from a set of characters, there's no way I'll buy it. If you pick from an archetype, then I might be interested. But I'd like to have some customization, even if it's just apparel or something.

Oh god...another superhero game. I've lost my faith in superhero games. The only one that is keeping the superhero genre alive is Batman Arkham Asylum.

Doubtful. Why do you "have a feeling" like that? Seems pretty random. The game already has a release window for the fall and they have previews set for February.

its happens, the most recent example would be Pirates of the Caribbean: Armada of the Damned, it was canceled around just a couple months before release. decent ideas don't always transfer over to good games.

i didn't realize this game was so close to it's release date, nowhere in this article does it mention one.

I disagreed and told you why, I didn't bubble you down or anything. It is a comment section, that is what happens. Discussion, debate, etc. I don't see the big issue. God forbid someone not agree with an uninformed "feeling".

You admitted yourself in your reply to me that you didn't know about the game's release. Now you do and you can see why I would question your "feeling". Having an opinion doesn't mean noone gets to disagree with you. People who disagree get to ask questions and explain the other side, which is what I did.

After how Too Human was received, having this game fail and not make it to market would probably be a death knell for Silicon Knights as a company, which is another reason why it would almost be impossible for them to have it be canceled.

In my opinion, the sun is a giant ball of ice and rain is most likely caused by massive asteroids kicking up water when they fall from the sky. You can't tell me I'm wrong because its my opinion...

I actually have no idea if what maawdawg is right or wrong cause i just heard about this game today but I just had to say something cause I've been seeing this terrible trend far too often. People tend to get insanely butt-hurt when someone disagrees with their infallible opinion.

Would be more excited for this title if the developer wasn't Silicon Knights. Looks like it's coming to PS3 so I will keep in eye out for it.

Well mgs twin snakes rocked, eternal darkness was superb, i thought too human was an excellent game, people didnt get it was a diablo type rpg with a decent story on there, it wasnt gow or dmc. Id love a sequal to be honest. It needed more npc interactions, less dying, and more story and choices. The world was so intriguing and interesting. I wanted to talk to people in the town hub and get quests, more boss fights and make sure they dont an hour. It came so close to bieng another mass effect or great sci-fi trilogy. Ms gives up instead of building franchises and getting better unless it sells 5 mil right away. This, lost odyssey, blue dragon, kameo, banjo, all sitting there collecting dust. No sequals. If i dont getalan wake 2 im blowing up hq...snake...

I apologise for the rant, point is silicone knights are great dev and i hope they get their freedom to create more new ip's.

It's an Activision game, so it's not seeing the inside of my console unless i get it for free.

which is a shame, because i enjoy the X-Men, and i DID work on the X-Men Legends game back in the day, but then again, that was before Kotick turned the company into a shithouse.

Activision USED to be an enjoyable place to work once upon a time.

it's interesting to see Silicon Knights behind the title. Eternal Darkness was fantastic, Twin Snakes was decent, and Two Human was average, but i think they could produce something quality if certain EGOS were kept in check (i'm looking at YOU, Dennis Dyack).
