Hardware has increased for every platform except the PSP which saw a dip after the release of Monster Hunter Freedom 3 in Japan last week. Total DS sales to date pass the 140 million this week and also surpass the PlayStation 2 as the bestselling video game platform of all time. The Wii hits the 80 million mark, only the sixth platform to achieve this. Xbox 360 sales are on track to reach 50 million by the end of the year also PlayStation 3 sales are on track to pass 45 million by the end of the year..."
