Christmas is a time for giving good games! Hear that grandma, no more clothes!!

Zachmo1824882d ago (Edited 4882d ago )

I would actually take clothes over games. I would rather look better then have a new game.

Haha really whats with the disagree?

Steven214882d ago

The statement was no clothes from grandma lol i personally do not want clothes from my grandma they are generally 20 years out of style so she can get me a game instead haha

HellzAssassin4882d ago

I agree. I love my clothes :D

PS3Freak4882d ago

So true, I always got the worst out of style clothes from my Grandma.

But on the complete flipside, if there's a game you've been itching to play for months on end sitting at the bottom of your tree, all wrapped up and waiting to be opened on the 25th; then you're gonna be giddy like a fatty at an all you can eat buffet.

That's why, at Christmas time...Video Games >>>>>> Clothes

You know it's funny you say that. When I was younger I would HATE getting clothes for Christmas. From anybody really. I would always want toys, or games and whatnot. But as I got older and more mature, I started appreciating clothes much, much more than I used to. Clothes can be pretty damn awesome so don't criticize them. As long as your family knows what you like, then clothes can be the longest lasting gifts, and the best looking ones as well. Of course, games are always amazing gifts as well. Merry Christmas to all!

Heh, funny, as I grew older I didn't get Christmas presents anymore.

I honestly believe Enslaved is a must-play. It's a short experience, but a memorable one at that.

I bought it. Not playing it til I'm with my aunt as she likes seeing these sort of games. Glad I got it though, and cheap too.

64 bit support is not the same as a next gen upgrade. 64 bit has been used for like 12-15 years now?

"I started playing games yesterday" the List... Meh!

How about a few RPGs that deserve some love instead?
1 - Alpha Protocol - Now on GOG
2 - else Heart.Break()
3 - Shadowrun Trilogy
4 - Wasteland 2
5 - UnderRail
6 - Tyranny
7 - Torment: Tides of Numenera

And for a bonus game that flew under the radar:
8 - Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden

Loved Alpha Protocol in all it's glorious jank. Great game.

SimpleSlave23d ago (Edited 23d ago )

Not only glorious jank, but the idea that the story can completely change depending on what you do, or say, or side with, makes it one of the most forward thinking games ever. The amount of story permutation is the equivalent of a Hitman level but in Story Form. And it wasn't just that the story changed, no, it was that you met completely new characters, or missed them, depending on your choices. Made Mass Effect feel static in comparison.

Alpha Protocol was absolutely glorious, indeed. And it was, and still is, more Next Gen than most anything out there these days. In this regard at least.

Pity.
