Intro the review:
"A little over four years ago, Bomberman: Act Zero was released. The game attempted to re-visualize Bomberman as an arena of bombermen fighting for freedom. The game flopped and received poor critical response. A little over three years ago, Bomberman Live was launched onto Xbox Live and offered classic Bomberman gameplay and visuals for the competition of up to 8 players online. The simplicity proved to be the game’s strength and the most enjoyable aspect of the game was competition with friends. Now today in 2010, we are reintroduced to Bomberman with Bomberman Live: Battlefest".
A.J. says: "When it comes to fast-paced retro platformers, very few games stand out in my memory as being as enjoyable as Adventure Island. Pull up your grass skirt, grab a stone axe, and let's eat as much fruit as our stomachs can handle!"
Hudson Soft was once a staple of gaming with franchises like Adventure Island, Star Soldier, and of course Bomberman, but since being acquired by Konami has faded into obscurity. Is it time to bring back the bee? RGT 85 says yes, and encourages you to help bring back Hudson Soft with him!
I agree with this or better yet I'd prefer if Konami sold the Hudson Soft games to someone that wants to bring those games out again.
MajorNelson via Twitter:“Bomberman Battlefest is coming to Xbox One Backward Compatibility today”
Bomberman is hard game to remake, but they still manage to keep doing it.
Although there isn't much new stuff and the online sucks, I think it still has a lot of replayability simply because Bomberman is so fun. I used to play the GBA version for hours!
ah too bad about this bomberman. I'll just have to keep playing the one i have on my DS
