Fable III In-Game Infidelity leads to brawl

The in-game relationship of a Boston man lead directly to a brawl with his girlfriend when she confronted him, having witnessed his in-game wedding and post-marital sex with a stranger.

Video game relationships -- and the games themselves -- are increasingly the cause for domestic discord, and the world is slow to catch up.

lol

FAKE??
"they play the game together almost daily -- and a female character on the screen who she at first mistook for an NPC character that was part of the game."

there is no way she could have seen a third player in fable 3 since it only supports 2 player co-op.
I assume they play Co-op together,so yeah no way this is obviously fake.

Twas my first thought as well. LOL.

I do not grok what you are saying here?

According to the girl she could in fact see the characters on the TV screen as she stood behind the couch in the room and observed the events. I have not actually seen a wedding in that game, so I do not have a first-hand notion of what it looks like -- but are you saying that the characters are not both on the screen at the same time when one takes place?

If that is true I will correct the piece, please confirm?

Basically She is saying that she used to see that NPC character when they played co-op and she later realizes that it wasn't an NPC character, it was a real person.

She could not have seen that "NPC" earlier when they played co-op together because fable 3 only has 2 player co-op.

i think you dont get it . She saw him play with someone in co-op , but wasnt herself in the game at those moments .

She believed it was a npc thing , then later realize he was co-op playing with someone else

just a random made up article for hits.

I know that you are making a point here, and that it is clear to you, but it is not clear to me. I am missing something here.

She says that she entered his flat and saw him playing the game. She says that while she watched him play, he interacted with a character that she at first thought was an NPC, but turned out to be a real person who he was playing the game with.

The question that I have here is this -- are you saying that it is not possible for him to have been playing the game with another person? Or are you saying that if he was playing the game with another person they would not have been visible on the TV for her to see?

If you could explain this to me a little more simply I would appreciate it. Thanks.

Ah I think I understand now. You misread the paragraph. THe paragraph you are referring to is this one:

"As she stood behind the couch unnoticed, she observed the familiar in-game character of her boyfriend -- they play the game together almost daily -- and a female character on the screen who she at first mistook for an NPC character that was part of the game. It soon became painfully obvious to her that it was in fact another person as the couple on the screen stood intimately close and she listened to the voice of her boyfriend's character proposing marriage."

She is not saying that she saw the woman prior to this event, she is saying that when she saw the woman during the event she at first mistook her for an NPC.

Hell hath no fury like the scorn of a woman.

The moral of this story is that the entire situation is stupid.

Seriously people just need to grow up. Throwing the Xbox 360 out the window and slashing up the couch over married pixels is childish. There are more mature ways of handling things.
