A new report states that Ubisoft, Activision and Sega are all bidding on the licensing rights to The Expendables 2 game planned for release close to the same time as the movie.
This is a action tower defense game themed after the latest The Expendables 3 movie. Control Sylvester Stallone, Antonio Banderas and other huge movie stars to shoot down the incoming waves of enemies. Build turrets and Gatling guns to help in reducing the the life of the enemies as they run along the path.
Ugh. I was really hoping for a more improved version of the arcade game Ubisoft made.
It was derivative and base, but it had potential. Better controls, more playable characters, some major bug fixes and better set-pieces and AI and it could have been something. This... goodness, this is jut not the Expendables at all.

Hello everybody. We are very happy to announce that the PlayStation Store Halloween Sale starts tomorrow (24th October). There are some frighteningly good offers across a whole range of great titles but please see below for a full list of the content available.
Gonna get myself HoTD 3&4 me thinks. Kind of expected Infamous Festival of Blood to be on sale for Halloween, oh well!
Anyone in Europe who hasn't picked up Beyond good and evil HD yet HAS TO do so now. It was pretty unforgivable to not buy it for the full price but at that price you should have your console taken away for refusing to buy it.

If Activision got it, they could practically map the the Expendables onto a Call of Duty game and make each character a platoon member. I can't see Ubisoft getting it. it would be a damned Assassin's Creed mess like they turned Splinter Cell into. Sega loves movie license games though. Look at the crap that is Iron Man 1 and 2!
The expandables was a great movie but the only downside it mostly surrounded stallone and statham while we only saw parts with the other characters.Hope activision dosen't get the rights cuz we know what's gonna happen if they do.
My favorite scene xDDDD.
Meh video games based on movies suck anyway.
@scar20
great movie?
lol.
I saw "Knight and Day" right after I rented expendables, and THAT movie had more action in it.
on topic -
doesn't matter who gets it as Xander756 puts it, "videogames based on movies suck anyway".
simple statement, and is said perfectly.
watch it flop
