IGN: Intellivision Lives! Review

Intellivision Lives is strictly for the fans, but even then, there have been so many previous Intellivision packages that the value of this collection is brought into question. It is a budget release, which helps smooth over some rough edges like missing games (due to licensing) and the obtuse menus. But even then, IGN can’t get too enthusiastic about it because even though they are big fans of this era of gaming, there is a key reason that Atari 2600 overshadowed the Intellivision: it simply had more good games.

That didn’t mean the games were more fun to play, however, but some of them were excellent.

And they still are.
