Cincinnati Examiner: The one thing you should remember while playing Crash Course for Xbox Live Arcade is that, it’s free. This is Doritos’ second promotional free game they’ve released on Xbox Live, and it’s at least better than the last one, which isn’t very hard. At times Crash Course is frustrating, and at other times Crash Course is boring. But this is at least a playable game, unlike the first Doritos promotional game.

Gamezebo: Crash Course Review

Here’s a design challenge to think about: how do you add a fresh twist to one of the most prolific genres in history, the twin-stick shooter? How many children of Asteroids are there? While Crash Course makes a valiant attempt to crack the code, and largely succeeds, it does so by standing on the shoulders of giants.
