Revolution Software has announced that they are currently working on bringing a remastered version of Broken Sword 2: The Smoking Mirror to iPhone and iPad before Christmas, with PC and MAC owners getting the game next year.
A slew of games have been packed into bundles for Steam users, all at incredibly discounted prices.
From GameWatcher: "Revolution Software are celebrating their 25th Anniversary with a special collection of the company's full catalogue of adventure games, including the Broken Sword series, Beneath a Steel Sky, Lure of the Temptress and In Cold Blood. The ‘Revolution: the 25th Anniversary Collection’ will be released on the 11th March, 2016 at a price of £29.99 / €39,99 exclusively for the PC."
I think it's about time I jump into this series. Good to see they will package everything into one neat, little unit.

I loved the original. Cecil should release it as a download only for the PlayStation Network & Xbox Live, as the Monkey Island Special Editions proved there is a big market for re-jigged graphic adventure games on consoles.
I remember getting that game as a freebie for the PS1, sent by mail (?!), when I was like 5 or 6 years old.
I guess that's the first mature game I've played in my life (and first game I've never finished as well). I will never forget how scared I was when I saw the spider D: *BOOKCASE KILL*
It's really too bad they aren't doing this on the PS3/Xbox because I'd really like to see how it would be in HD "glory".
Edit: Just checked it. "Les chevaliers de baphomet II" (French ftw) *Promo only - Not for resale*
Now that's something I'm glad I've kept with me, can't wait to see some of the HD remake screenshots.
Awesome!
I played the original version of BS2 on Steam a few months back, and I thought it was great. I don't really see the need for a remastered version.
Almost on a par with the first game. I wish it was coming out for the PSN, or even the Wii like the first remastered game did. Rats!
