This week's 1UP Show has a little something for anyone who loves freedom and good videogames. 1UP kick it all off with their exclusive look at Silent Hill 5. 1UP's own Ryan O'Donnell got to visit the developers of the next chapter in this famously frightening series along with Shane Bettenhausen for EGM's October cover story.
Then 1UP rounds up their review crew for EA's answer to Tony Hawk, Skate. Cesar Quintero sits down with Jennifer Tsao and Nick Suttner to find out if this 'boarding game does the trick for real skaters.
Finally, Ryan and Shawn Elliott recently got to visit Valve to see the five game glory pack, The Orange Box.
Full Circle’s new Skate The Board Room episode promises only the best threads and customization, without the need to spend any cash.
The time to play the new Skate game on PS5 and Xbox is approaching, as Full Circle confirms console testing will be arriving next year.
These guys are pretty cringe. Also the look of the new skate looks boring compared to games like Skater XL and Sessions. I'm not a fan of the arcade skate Sims
The sirens are sounding again, beckoning you back to the foggy ghost town as we rank all the Silent Hill games, from the chilling classics to the misguided missteps.
I mostly disagree with Downpour's position. Yeah, the game is not amazing by any stretch of the imagination but is much better than the HD Collection and Homecoming. The main issue is the performance, but that was mitigated by the patches, especially on the PS3. Personally, I put it a little behind Origins and The Room.
Having Restless Dreams as a different entry from Silent Hill 2 is also a choice.
silent hill 2 is definitely the best one out of those.
for me personally, the whole ritual/cult stuff was always so weird to me in all the other games.
No disrespect but I put SH2 over 1. 1 is fantastic, but 2 took it all up a level.
