Have fun competing with COD sales

sp1deynut4903d ago (Edited 4903d ago )

...Gears 1 & 2 ALSO released in November...competing head-to-head with COD games... and BOTH sold over 4 million copies in the first 6 months. Troll attempt FAILED.

RockmanII74903d ago

Yea CoD3 and W@W, CoD has gotten much bigger since those two games. CoD3 sold 4 million total, W@W sold 14 million total, and BO has already sold 13 million total.

jetlian4903d ago

yea and they both averaged 6 million in total sales. With all the hate people give COD it should be on the slow end come next year.

COD Never stoppped AC from selling 7 million or so either.

Not everyone is poor lazysey. I buy multiple games in a day... GASP!

Ruggadagod4903d ago

[Review] FPS Freek EPIC--RespawnAction

RA "When it comes to online shooters, people try to obtain every advantage they can in order to have an edge over their opponents. Headsets are perhaps the most sought after product in this case, as having a rugged headset will allow players to hear, with precision, an enemy's footsteps, and in some games, even their breathing.

Kontrol Freek is adding another tactical advantage to the online shooter market with their FPS Freek controller attachment--a pair of analog nub extensions that are designed to provide extra comfort and more precise maneuverability through a wide variety of games."

Couldn't agree more but man Dead Island was a close second, October and November is gonna be a tough race!

UncannyValley4600d ago

Gears 3 has to win. There was a bunch of praise for all of these games, but for me personally, Horde 2.0 has kept me glued to the TV screen.

Gigglefist4599d ago

I hear ya. There's just something about that silverback that I can't say no to.

No surprise there. I was disappointed in Dead Island, though. It was my most anticipated game this year. It could have been so much more. Nonetheless, it's a great game, and deserves to be played.

Top 10 Best Video Game Takedowns

Cinematic takedowns are relatively new to video games, only having gained popularity over the last decade. After all, Pac-Man only ate the ghosts; he didn't grab them by their ethereal appendages and proceed to tear them in half while you violently mashed a button. But now cinematic finishing moves are common, ranging from humorous to stylish, and even disturbingly violent. Check out a little from each of these categories as we tackle our top ten takedowns. These are so graphic we can't even show all of them.

Yi-Long4606d ago

... Yakuza 4 should be on this list. it has some epic finishing moves. :)

Great list though.
