Maybe the very best PS3 exclusives, but certainly not all of them. There are plenty of exclusives like Haze that don't really push the hardware.

And then there's the PC when you're talking about multiplats (I'm sure the PC version of DE:HR will look awesome if you've got a rigg powerful enough to max it out).

Anyways, I'll be buying both games. They both look awesome for different reasons (one is an FPS, the other an FPS-RPG hybrid).

I'm considering giving Resistance a pass because it was a launch title, although it came out the same year as Gears and Gears blew it out of the water. But Haze? Did you really try to defend Haze in a graphics converstion? Haze came out in 2008 and Black looked better than it.

@People attacking Resistance - Resistance was an amazing game, and the graphics were also very impressive, at least better than Halo 3 which came out in the same year. Of course Gears looked better though, but Gears looks better than a lot of games on 360.

On topic - One of the most idiotic comparisons I've seen. Would have been a lot smarter to compare with Alpha Protocol/Mass Effect, due to the game being similar in gameplay.

I've played Haze, and I like it. That doesn't mean I didn't notice the short comings of the game, especially with graphics.

If you're talking about the locations of being somewhat creative, then I'll agree, graphics though...not so much. Don't get me wrong though, Haze was fun...online, they should've continued to support that aspect of the game. My favorite maps were the swamp and the aircraft carrier. You must've thought you were talking to someone who doesn't have access to a PS3...wrong.

I played Haze too...and I thought it pretty much sucked on every level...visually the art direction was pretty good, but on a technical level it was a disaster (remember, that was one of the first titles to dip below 600p native resolution)...

Online was ok from what I remember, had some good ideas...but it was clear that the game was made when Free Radical was having all kinds of internal problems, and they shut down and went up for sale just months after Haze shipped...

@ElementX- According to our PS3 loyalist bretheren, the past doesn't exist. And there was never a time that Gears 1 was superior graphically to every PS3 exclusive launch title. But its cool..whatever helps these people sleep at night. For the record, Uncharted 2 is the best looking game I've played this generation...but to deny that there was ever a time in which 360 exclusives looked better than PS3 exclusives is an outright lie.

Because we all know resolution and FPS (since KZ3, with MLAA, will be pretty much replicating the best PC AA effects)are the ONLY things that make up graphics. It has nothing to do with design, game engine or artistry. /s

PC will always have the potential to create the best graphics, but rarely (very rarely) does it do so, since they must cater to a large audience who have a PC capable of handling the game. Yes, there is Crysis as an exception, but for well over a year after it was released, there were still very few people able to play it at upper level settings.

Deus Ex looks good, and so does KZ3. Honestly, the entire comparison is stupid, since the games are very different. KZ3 will, guaranteed, look better on consoles, and it's very very likely that everything for KZ3, except resolution and FPS, will be better on all platforms. Now, which one will be a better game is the far more important and relevant question (different genres though).

Resistance is an extremely good game and seems its selling really well for a new IP. As for this a multi-platform will never look better than a ps3 exclusive in the hardcore categories. Besides those Deus Ex shots on that site are taken from preview shots from PC. So pretty unfair comparison considering Consoles aren't upgradeable.

It is also Ironic that the 360 is "supposed" to be easy to develop for and is supposed to be closest to the PC when it comes to programming and development. Yet all you ever see is PS3 comparisons to PC games, when the 360 exclusives are nowhere to be found competing graphically.

Deus Ex is probably PC build, and 2 of the "screenshots" are from trailers (not in-game either). KZ3 screens are old, some of the first shown.

Deus Ex Human Revolution and Killzone should not even be mentioned in the same sentence, Deus Ex is a classic, Killzone, Halo Reach or any of other game will not come close to Deus Ex, graphics we will have to wait and see, Deus Ex on Xbox looked fantastic, I expect this to be amazing.

One of those DX screens are from the CGI Trailer and Im sure none of them are actually rendered live due to the very CGI like smoothness of the screens.

I saw gameplay a while back and it looked good and I cant wait to see how the final thing looks.
But ss for now I think it is clear that Killzone 3 doesnt have much to worry about except Crysis 2 and perhaps RAGE.

I'll take Deus Ex's looks any day, and I don't care about how many polygons or shaders or 3D guff it has.

It looks fantastic, it's all in the art direction. I don't know how well the entire game will hold up with the black and gold theme, but it looks like nothing else out there. The whole take on a second renaissance is original, they've really built a new world, I can't wait to get in it.

As for Killzone, we've seen it before, and it wasn't particularly inspiring the first two times around.
