New VGA Image Puts Resident Evil Reveal In Doubt

NowGamer: Spike TV's Geoff Keighley has just posted another cryptic image that seems to extinguish hopes of a Resident Evil or Left 4 Dead reveal at the VGAs...

This doesnt rule it out in anyway, everyone believes this to be the Racoon City Multi-player only RE game made by the Socom Confrontation team.

EDIT: There is a possibility the 2 teaser images where for 2 different games.

Hmm I remember when the last prototype came out they compared it to Infamous as it was multi-platform.. If this goes exclusive 360 owners won't have anything like Infamous this time around..

Because the first of 3 images used official images from Resident Evil is why. It seems more likley that they where 2 separate game reveals and not reveals for the same game.

I'd say the PSP version of RE's development has been shifted to the PSP2, probably going to be a launch title.

If it was meant for the PSPgo then it was also meant for the regular PSP as they both play the same games. They are not different systems. They are all just different versions of the same PSP. You have the PSP-1000, PSP-2000, PSP-3000 and PSPgo. Its just like the Nintendo DS, DS Lite, DSi and DSi XL.

the main character was "Infected"
Activision is the sites owner.

I have never played Prototype, but this seems to be the outcome... Or the new I.P. Since we know nothing of it.

meh prototype 2? My friends loved that game but Infamous was the one that did it for me because they both released around the same time. Probably be doin the same thing with Infamous 2, but if they really tweaked the game to make it better I might have to check it out.

The first image of the "Infected" had 2 zombies that are on an officially licensed Resident Evil shirt...like clear as day the same zombies.

@wwm0nkey actually the image used silhouettes, just because the resi tshirt used the same ones(be it with eyes) doesn't mean its resi or copyrighted lol :P

i could create a silhouette of any (non major character) and wouldn't be done for copyright, its being used in a poster, theres no big deal :P relax dude

I bought Prototype for 10 bucks on Black Friday and i'm loving it so far, the graphics might not be so great, but with everything going on, it being a multiplatform game and a smaller studio making it, it's pretty damn good and a sequel would be awesome.

Why all the hate for Prototype? I own Prototype and can tell you that it's equally on par with Infamous overall. Hopefully, if this is indeed a sequel, the graphics can be patched up, add more moves, different city, better story etc. Looking forward to this and Resistance 3's reveal.
