One of the most popular modes in the original Crackdown was something that wasn't even in the original game. Keys to the City was a full set of cheats that could be enabled or disabled at will, essentially giving players full access to just about everything in the world. Much like the first game, Keys to the City wasn't included in Crackdown 2 by default, but rather added to the game by way of the Toy Box DLC.
Crackdown 1 and 2 were both given for free to Xbox One users to celebrate their launch on the Xbox Live Store and backward compatibility support for the Xbox One. In addition to giving the games for free, Microsoft is now also giving the DLC for Crackdown 2.
Gamingbolt writes:
"I have not seen this advertised anywhere but the Crackdown 2 DLC is on sale now at 50% off. Both DLC packs including the ‘Toy Box’ and ‘The Deluge’ are 240 Microsoft Points instead of 560 Points."
I (TheGrimBunny)didn't see this anywhere else, I think it's one of those deals they don't want you to know about, cause it's for today only i think.
They should give whoever bought this shitty, shitty game the DLC for free.
NXT Gamer's Siobhan reviews the new Toy Box DLC for Crackdown 2:
"It goes without saying that the free content is at the very least worth the download, but overall, while the content is mostly great fun to play around with the additions are relatively shallow and the entertainment it brings is pretty short lived. Those who have already finished the game will grow tired of the extras quickly, but those who haven’t will get a great deal more use from the pack — at the same time though, they’ll see a severe dip in the games more challenging moments, now made been made significantly easier as you can thrust your way through the likes of the previously tricky Rooftop Races and to the once-awkward orb locations."
