Treyarch is investigating the freezes on the PS3 version of Black Ops

There are still people that are getting crazy from all the freezes. Finally JD_2020 has announced that they are investigating this and that is good news for allot of people.

Now they are working on this:

I'm already bored with it and they only reason why I still play it is because my friends do. I'll probably trade it in for something else in a couple months. I'm done with the Activision and the COD series.

As crappy as this game is, all the glitches and lag. The game freezes aren't entirely "the game" as they are lag switchers running around killing everyone. This happened once to me that I walked away thinking it was a "freeze." When I came back, the game was over and everyone on my team had multiple deaths and one guy on theirs had wracked up almost all the kills.

I didn't record it or anything I was just soo p'd.

if it's in your last 100 matches...shouldn't you be able to save the replay to your share/file or whatever. Report the guy if it looks like he was legitimately lag switching. Although I suppose it would be difficult to prove someone was purposefully lag switching.

like Pillage said, as long as you have recently played that match, it should be in your match log. at the start of the video itself, hold circle (i think) to begin recording & once it's done, upload it as PROOF of foul play (along with the crappy connection stats just like in-game when you hit select).

those games will be barren wastelands online. black ops sold more copies than killzone 2 did in 1 week don't mention resistance 3. where do you think people will be playing.killzone is made by a no talent developer, when i think of killzone 2 is all about graphics and other tech rubbish, if you take away the much of the techlogy powering the game all you get is a very very generic shooter. all guerilla talks about their killzone 3 is the graphics, graphics, animations, 3D and more boring graphics bullshit.

I've encountered repeated freezing issues and our party always disband after a game. Very, very annoying. I still love the game though.

The game freezes on the XBox 360 as well. I guess it's just not as widely reported.

I dont think they fucked it up they just havent finished black ops proberly. Big chance it is because of Activision and their hurry!

Treyarch clearly doesnt give a sh!t about the PS3 version. They sold PS3 owners a broken, inferior game and are not worried about fixing it. On top of that you guys have to wait one full month after xbox owners get the highly priced map packs.

I was kinda interested in this game at some point but there is no way I could support this crap. I just got WaW second hand, I'll stick with it.

I'm sadly going to have to disagree with you, I haven't experienced these yet but I can't deny that this hasn't happened with me and MW2. But as far as gameplay and all these claims of screen tearing along with dropping Frames are completely unfounded. If anything this game has been very balanced from the frame rate to the gameplay.

It troubles me a little, because I actually enjoy more the gameplay in WaW than CoD4, so I would like to try this game on PS3, but even my friends tell me it is recommended to wait until some more patches are issued. Regarding the inferior port, the 10-20 fps difference in framerate is important, but I guess you get used to playing at 40fps instead of 50 or 60. There is no point in arguing any further if you are happy with what you got.

Hopefully I'll be able to put a decent PC together at some point next year, so it would be the right platform to try this out. In the meantime WaW will suffice.

If this is true i can finally play Call of Duty: Black Ops on a normal way. When i now try to play it it will freeze when its at the movie with the lady with the sigaret. If i get furter it will freez in the multiplayer

I am lucky then because I played Black ops twice on the single player mode and around 10 hours online and I have not get a single freeze or bug appearing on my screen.

I'll just be playing GT5 until I come close to completing it, should take around 2 months, so hopefully by then, Treyarch have fixes the online, although I don't really have any problems with it right now.

Gotta give it to Treyarch, they are atleast fixing problems unlike infinity ward.

If Infinity Ward had updates like Treyarch, CoD would regain its crown.

What you have to remember is IW went through a lot of shit once MW2 came out.

Still needs a bit more tweaking on the spawns.

'Investigating' implies they did not already know about it, which they did. Developers always release unfinished games, and they will continue to as long as people are willing to pay $60 for the same god damn game each year.

Im definitely not gonna buy a new copy of COD again. The games are practically unplayable until a month and the first round of patches come out. Then again, its almost unplayable now even after the patch. One time I shot a copter out of the sky and it exploded 10 seconds later. Again, fuck you Treyarch, fuck you to hell.

I usauly get a freeze during multiplayer within an hour. It has not froze on me in zombie mode. There is a support number on the back of the manual everyone should call it and get their money back.

Valkarie rockets explode on xbox too. My friend just kept pressing it and kept blowing up and went negative. Dont know why he did not stop trying to fire it though.
