Taking its cues from the genre leaders The Legend of Zelda and Fable, The Lord of the Rings: Aragorn’s Quest casts players as young Frodo Gamgee, living in The Shire with his father, reliving the tales of his adventures with the Fellowship of the Ring.

I am not a big fan of the Lord of the Rings trilogy but it is a classic source of inspiration for fantasy stories. Aragorn’s Quest is based on Tolkien’s work and lets you guide the aforementioned hero as he battles the minions of Sauron. Your purpose is to reach the Black Gate of Mordor so that Frodo throws the magical ring of the evil wizard into the lava of Mount Doom and destroys it once and for all.
