With COD and a Torne Bundle (which had also lifted PS3 previously) this week, there is little doubt that PS3 hardware sales increased a bit. Still, sequels and similar bundles push less hardware than the originals. Expect PS3 hardware sales to rise into the 25,000 to 35,000 unit range for the week.
X360 Software - Call of Duty opened worse than its predecessor on X360. However, Kinect launched this week, and likely sold 15,000 to 20,000 units between hardware bundles and the standalone sensors. Even so, no Kinect games charted in the preliminary top twenty. Expect X360 hardware sales to rise into the 6,000 to 12,000 unit range - depending on how many Kinects were sold.
For this week, expect Wii hardware sales to fall into the 30,000 to 40,000 unit range.
From hunting ghosts to fighting it out in gladiatorial arenas, there are many underrated PS2 games you should check out in the goldmine.
Kudos for putting Kill.Switch and Chao Legion on the list. I love those games and agree they're underrated. Kill.Switch is one of my fav shooters on the PS2.
Backward compatibility works for many games on newer consoles, but titles such as The Simpsons: Hit and Run have been left out.
The PlayStation 2 boasted an impressive collection of stealth games. Here are some of the best stealth games worth experiencing
If 360 sell 25,000 this week, that would be pretty good for Kinect in Japan. They don't like 360 and they don't have enough room for Kinect. So moving that many 360 will be great for M$.
Like most things in Japan, its not going to be 1st week numbers that say anything, but 2nd, 3rd and beyond. If they stay steady or drop to under half.
wow 360 is doing better than usual
