It was a good game beforehand, but I do agree with you that it hasn't changed in graphics.

harrypmgaga4909d ago

Thanks a lot for the kind words, Josh_Squire! Hopefully you agree with the review - though I suspect a lot of people won't be.

Josh_Squire4909d ago

I doubt they will. After 11 years what have they done to the gameplay and graphic..absolutely nothing. I definitely won't be picking this up any time soon.

As the writer of this review, I can understand the nostalgia effect in video games. But this game takes it to a new level. Nothing has changed. It cannot hold a candle to games of this generation. Just because something is old and nostalgic doesn't make it good. This has been proven with Crazy Taxi.

harrypmgaga4909d ago

Hopefully others will agree.

Josh_Squire4909d ago (Edited 4909d ago )

I really don't know how other companies have given this game a high rate. It's unbelievably bad controls and gameplay.

harrypmgaga4909d ago

Well reviews are subjective, and we do have to respect each and every one of them.

Baka-akaB4909d ago

well everything kinda changed . Not only Crazy taxi wasnt such a great title that it would remain timeless like a few others , but but removing the original soundtracks and censoring the ad , they removed any kind of feeling to the game , and at least half its fun .

ForROME4909d ago

This rehash has been getting crashing reviews, its a pass

harrypmgaga4908d ago

Indeed; it's mediocre at best, and the removal of key features like the original soundtrack and branding doesn't help. It just doesn't keep up.

JohnApocalypse4909d ago

Oh snap! I didn't think they could of fucked this up

Scott_Rogerson4906d ago

Seen some footage of this game on youtube... Im bored and i want to play if for lol's :P

Sega sells Relic and will cut 240 jobs across UK studios

GamesIndustry.biz writes: "Relic is best known for the Company of Heroes and Dawn of War games, and recently developed the new Age of Empires for Microsoft. Relic will transition to an independent studio and will no-longer be part of the Sega group of studios.

The majority of the 240 job cuts are across Creative Assembly and Sega Europe, while there will be a ‘small number’ cut from Sega HARDLight. There was no mention of other Sega UK studios, including Two Point Studios and Sports Interactive."

Shame about Creative Assembly, they should have just been allowed to do an Alien Isolation sequel.

just_looken31d ago

It was that garbage coh 3 that did them in only a special team can make a sequel worse in every way even though it was a 10 year gap and the same era.

gold_drake32d ago

I hope they find new jobs in the industry soon.

Jingsing32d ago

Two Point Studios and Sports Interactive probably run on a shoe string budget so that fits into SEGA better lol

Sega had such a turbulent existence from the mid-90s to when they dropped out of console manufacturing entirely in 2001, it’s understandable if you’ve never heard of the Genesis Nomad.
