New Game Trading Site Emerges For Serious Gamers

A new game trading website has emerged, this one more serious about getting the intended job done and pleasing both parties in the trade. If you've ever been to GameStop to trade, you know that they only want to give you maybe 5% of what the game is worth (after some negotiating they may give you 6%). This new website eliminates the middle man, and allows for you to trade directly with other gamers (100% for 100%, how it should be).

Gonna have to check it out.

Dont know about you, but this is a fairly old concept, there are like 2-3 other game-trading sites. Still, beats trading back in-store.

Yes man keep posting that article it needs to hit a 1000 degrees.

Quagmire4923d ago

Im trying, but people would rather read flamebait or cod-glitches articles rather than articles which really matter.

GhostofHorizon4923d ago

If they were serious, they would add support for other countries as well.

The deals are much better there and I feel it strikes the perfect balance between adjusting prices and letting you set your own. They even send you the envelope! The hardest part is waiting.

lodossrage4923d ago

I've used them maybe 3 times already

Cenobia4923d ago

Yeah I have used that as well.

They also don't have accounts that are "free for a limited time." You only pay if you want extra features.

Also, the looping blur on the header of this website is driving me insane.

A Matter Of Trust: What The Game Industry Should Do To Win Gamers Back

Skewed and Reviewed have written an Opinion Piece covering issues in the gaming industry, how current issues were issues years ago, and what can be done to help restore consumer trust.

anast1d 17h ago

Nothing. It's up to the gamers to stop consuming content from companies that they don't agree with.

Garethvk1d 4h ago

How do you know if you agree with it or not unless you play it? Which without conventions forces gamers to rely on trailers. Perhaps Demos should be made more frequently. But companies need to do better as well.

anast1d 4h ago

Wait until release. Watch Gameplay. Exercise patience.

Garethvk1d 3h ago

But is that not what they have now? Tons of gameplay or are you talking about watching actual gamers play it versus the trailers and streams? The big issue is that some companies pay streamers and influencers and they create content but for me; that is hardly a fair, unbiased, and factual look at a game.

Get rid of the suits in the industry and job done!!

Garethvk1d 4h ago

They usually are attached to the money sadly. It would be nice to have gamers in charge but you have so much money invested that business people are needed. Hence the issue; you need people who know business but are also gamers who know have an eye to the community. It sounds simple in theory that if you give gamers quality games that they want to play; money will be made. But that is not always so.
