Once 2011 begins, mankind will only have one more year remaining until….the end of the world. Within mankind’s final year, a huge blow out of highly anticipated games are going to be released. Some are new I.P’s while some are sequels. Some you’ve never heard of, while some are more famous than bread on a stick (if that’s even famous?). Gentlemen & ladies (gentlemen first), allow me to introduce to you the most wanted games of 2011!

I have seen that same list knocking about by the same 360 trolls here.

gears 3 - Cool.

forza 4 - Has no chance of being better than GT5 (both graphically and in sheer amount of content). Polyphony have raped Turn 10 good and proper. I don't see it surpassing GT5. There won't be the need for another GT game for at least 3-4 years.

risen 2 - Not exclusive.

codename kingdoms - Cool. I suspect it's only a timed exclusive, and based on Microsoft's track record, it's probably also for PC. Crytek are a PC developer remember.

codename d, haunt, rise of nightmares, steel batallion, project draco - All Kinect games, which from what I have heard, are XBLA games. Pretty much no information on these games.

brain and body - LOLWUT?

child of eden - Not exclusive.

xcom - Not exclusive.

gun loco - Cool.

grey matter - Not exclusive.

fire pro wrestling - XBLA title. Nice.

radiant silvergun - XBLA. Cool!

kinect star wars - On rails Kinect game.

dance central 2 - BWAHAHAHHAH!

alan wake 2 - Cool. I wonder how long you will have to wait for this one though, since the first took 5 years to make.

halo 4 - Cool!

prey 2 - Not exclusive.

kingdom under fire 2 - Not exclusive.

metro 2034 - Not exclusive, and possible release on PS3.

So yeah, most of those are either not exclusive, unannounced, or require Kinect. Where are the defining exclusive titles? Multiplatform games don't define a console...

I really can't believe they left out Gears. But, it honestly looked a little skewed to me. All PS3 exclusives except one Wii exclusive and a few multiplats.

But, honestly, Gears 3 looks amazing, and I wasn't really a fan of the first gears, I was a slight fan of Gears 2, but Gears 3 looks simply awesome. I literally cannot wait to get my hands on the new Horde.

The exclusive titles are there, but most of the just aren't notable and/or are also on PC. In fact most of them (check out comment #1.5) look like average games. And as for the Kinect titles... well we all know about them.

Man, I want Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Neverdead, Twisted Metal, Bodycount, RAGE (ooohhhhh), Dead Space 2, inFamous 2 (OMGOMG), but Killzone 3 tops the list. I've never played ICO or Shadow of the Colossus (sadly) but The Last Guardian seems pretty interesting.

OK, Yes BLACK was amazing, but the only thing they have in common is the chief designer. Totally different studios. Bodycount doesnt look that good, I would much rather want Criterion to make Black 2.

The Last Guardian and the Team ICO collection are at the top of my list. Infamous 2, Killzone 3, LBP 2, Gears 3, L.A. Noire, Raidant Silvergun, and Motorstorm 3 should be excellent.

I'm going to be buying more games on PC than usual. I'm getting Portal 2 for sure, and I'm hoping Episode 3 is in the works. Crysis 2 and Rage should be awesome. Looking forward to Deus Ex 3 and several others. I'm going to need to buy a new HDD for my PC to hold these games.
