I got tired yesterday of waiting for my Bestbuy.ca order from last Sunday(!) to be fulfilled.

So I printed out a copy of BB's web page advertising the WH bundle for a cool CN$39, headed over to my local Future Shop, and got a price match for the last two remaining of the rapidly-depleting Warhawk bundles (one for my beloved Bro-in-law).

Although it's currently sitting in my system, installed and ready to go, I've yet to play my first game.

Since last night got waaay to late, and I'm out the door for the remainder of this evening, looks as if I'm going to have to wait till late tonight to get severely pwned.

Now...where do I sign for that much-anticipated N4G clan??? ;)

so many people said that warhawk is not AAA title, well it's and guess what its fun and free to play online and just as good as xbox live. in 2 years i think that PSN will be as good as Xbox live or better.

Cant wait to pick mines up later on, man PS3 users should be getting this game this weekend, no excuses unless you dont have the money or your just to lazy to go out and get it, matter fact if you are lazy just download :) PS3 users need to show that this is indeed a AAA title by buying it and making the sales look real good, I hope sony announces how many downloads this thing got.

I've been playing since Wednesday and I feel like my fingers are about to fall off. It's refreshing to step out of fps' and combine different elements of game play.

i ask because you cannot fly on your side in motion control mode (i think). R2 + L2 = powerslide for air or ground incase you didn't already know

I use both control types. Analog sticks for games with pure dogfighting, motion control for everything else.

Sticks all the way. I can never stay still while I'm playing, so the motion doesn't work for me at all. Plus I like to be kicked back in a recliner and it's kinda hard to keep the controller level like that.

If a game that is averaging 83% a AAA title than I guess the 360 would have TONS of AAA titles. Anyway, gonna go to my cousins house and get some playing time with this. He says its an okay game but he prefers SOCOM.

I LOVE online games. I played Counterstrike, Battlefield 1942, Soldier of Fortune, Black Hawk Down, Unreal 2004, Halo 2, etc... So I am looking forward to checking out the excitement that this game is bringing. But from my honest take from just SEEING the gameplay videos, here are my problems:

1. 3 vehicles is way to low for a next gen game
2. Graphics are pretty simple: Explosions/fire/flamethrower look last gen
3. Aiming looks pretty sloppy. One on one shootouts looks pretty bad.
4. HERE IS ONE MAIN GRIPE: I LOVE SNIPING! And the sniping here looks last gen. Just a simple zoom and kill. I LOVE CALL OF DUTY sniping...the way your gun slightly moves when your zoomed in and you have to hold your breath to steady it. Just adds to the realism.

From the videos this game looks pretty simple. But we'll see tonight.

Chan, learn for a change. A triple A game is a game with reviews of 90% and up. This game does not have that. He has no right to call it triple A multiplayer.

I knew somebody was going to come in here and say that! Warhawk has a steep learning curve and no single player. thats why it got docked in reviews, but play it yourself and you will see how addictive and fun the gameplay is.

Right Icecake and Moondust, just like how you guys disowned Resistance as PS3 first AAA, it doesn't score a nine but if 2 million sales worldwide doesnt prove its quality. What is??? Some reviewer's score. Last time I checked AAA is defined as games that have the ability of moving consolee. Resistance fit right in. Keep trying and comes up with all the stupid excuse. In the end you found out that most of people who join in have fun and you're the only unhappy one.

Any reviewer who gave this game under a 9 is just bitter cause they suck. The only way to describe Warhawk is DIGITAL CRACK. May not be the best graphics but the game play is bliss.

If you throw out the 6.5 or whatever, what would the average be? Cause seems to me the majority are at least 8.5

but walked out with Warhawk instead! I know Lair is supposed to be beautiful, but everyone is amp-11 for this online massacre machine. I've read about its learning curve, so I'll likely be getting shot-up pretty badly for a while (lol)... but it'll be worth it.

Its not to bad, it took me 20mins to relise how to fly the dam thing, however within 2hours was flying warhawks and using controls as if i had been playing it for weeks

The controlls are very strange if you've been used to resistance/Gears last few months

Question: Is this game online only? Meaning if I want to play with just me and one other friend, do we both have to play online or can we play offline against eachother?

Im pretty sure you can do splitscreen, but I havent do that myself yet, any how if you want to play with a friend just create a room with a password. and thats how I practiced the controls myself...

other then that yeah Its a completley online game.

as far as your second question you can try superstardust hd, I played that with a buddy and it was fun for a while, but warhawk is where its at really

edit@chasegamez oh I was rubbish at superstardust, but I only played for about a half hour, then I played with a friend on co-op, but I think he has decent scores... his PSN is jJOSHj18 if you want to hit him up for a game. I was at his place when we played co-op, dont know if it works online...

It got some 8's, even a 6.5 from PSM or so. I bet it still isn't an AAA game, although you like to call it triple A.

Cuz the most of Jap devs dont do anything for the 360. and they are two thirds of all console devs in the world
Despite of any revs or prevs scores - it is a pure fun. And from me personally it is great cuz it is in Russian, Dutch, Spanish, Portugese, Italian, etc. not only in English and let non-english speaking players feel comfortable too.

you want to know what i consider a AAA title?!?!? Its a game that wows me, its a game that i can play for hours on end and still not be bored, its a game that pushes forward and doesnt just sit back on its past! Warhawk is AAA in my book!

I will play this game for a very long time!

and btw there will be no part2 for Warhawk. Instead we will get map packs and i can see this game with maybe 12-15maps by next Holiday season! Maybe they will even add a bigger troop transport veichle! Maybe add a new gun or two!
