I am very excited by Stalker being given the small screen treatment. Is there a game more deserving? Stalker is one of those very rare games that, objections of Roger Ebert aside, comes very close to ‘art’ in this jaded gamer’s opinion. While the heart of the game is a shooter with rather standard mechanics, Stalker is actually something greater than the sum of its parts: it’s a moody and creepy trip into a land that is as much a pixilated critique of man’s merciless abuse of his environment, as it is a metaphysical trip into what William Conrad would term man’s ‘heart of darkness’.

Lol
All of these games are pretty much universally praised. Outside of Timeshift I literally own all of these.
XIII, The Darkness 2, Far Cry: Blood Dragon, Timesplitters: future perfect, Bulletstorm are awesome games
I played them all, they are all good in their own way
I used to be obsessed with FPS games
Stalker: Legacy of Times was an attempt to create a STALKER-inspired game on CryEngine 2, however, its dev team announced its official cancellation.
