It's a really cool idea, but we should be able to deactivate it, loading the 3d environment when boot up the game takes a bit more time. One thing I liked in MW2 was that it took about 30 secs from the xmb to an online game, now it takes a minute.

I agree with you. Revealing it is one thing. I seen that it was there. But they showed you how to get to it right off the back. No opportunity to figure it out on your own. Easter Eggs revealed before the release is udder crap.

It's out tomorrow (in UK) and its only £36 on Amazon, goes up to £50 after the game is out lol, stuck whether to get another COD game. Might sell MW2 though, but if it turns into COD:WOW and everyone goes back to COD4/MW2 then its a waste.

utterly agreed. No review posted on this title is going the be believeable, imo - with all the positive bias inspired by the prior titles. I really want this to be as good as the fanboys claim, MW2 didn't impress me - nor did WaW - but all the prior ones did - so here's to hoping this one will be great. I still recall playing the original CoD which, at the time, was a truly amazing experience :)

Yeah mate, it is a very good series! I have heard (and hope that it's true) that they have decided to pick it up for a second series that will start shooting in January.

Thought everyone knew about this game anyway? Read about it on N4G earlier last week anyway.

On the sunject of Black Ops itself, I bought it, it arrives tomorrow and I'm looking forward to it actually. I know CoD games generally get a lot of mixed feeling and I certainly won't be following any reviews on it here but I think the simple gameplay is what makes them enjoyable. That and the zombie modes, gotta love the zombies modes. See you online folks.

With all the stuff they added to this game, it looks like they want people to keep it for a long time. With all the extra content they said they have planned, zombie maps and a hidden mini game, it looks like it will be a keeper. I like it when developers go out of their way to try to get me to keep a game.

That's really cool. I think the little zombie game is an excellent idea. I wonder how many other little arcade games are written onto the disc. Perhaps future patches will include more. Very very cool. More bang for our buck!
