Did Microsoft Drop The Ball With Kinectimals

Looks like Microsoft may have forgotten about one important detail with their Kinect launch. The game Kinectimals has one little problem with it, it seems as if Microsoft dropped the ball here.

Honestly with this game I. Don't think ms cares. They wantes something cute for the kids to play and that's what they got and its reviewing very nicely.

Dr-ZOOM4931d ago (Edited 4931d ago )

Surely you mean a response to nintendogs and eye pet

Masamori Sumimura4931d ago

Why does everything got to be a response?

Whiskey4931d ago

it's great for the kids - mine can't get enough of it.

but MS has come out and said that THIS is their DLC strategy for the game - stuffed animals with the scan codes. In order for it to be successful, they'll have to change something

Dr-ZOOM4931d ago

Because that is how competition is born

PRHB HYBRiiD4931d ago

microsoft dropped the ball with the price....150 is to much....80 is a fair price.

darthv724931d ago

no more than nintendogs

LOL...Im avoiding this game like the plague.

Rush4931d ago

Yeah I guess being around small children is a problem for some.

karl4931d ago

im sure its nothing personal rush

Scary694931d ago

@ Kmr1977

I am actually avoiding the games and the Kinect itself like a plague, it's a shame some are making it out to be something great when it really is not. My local best buy has it set-up and it's ridiculous. Trying to watch a grown a$$ man trying to get the thing to react to his moves was priceless. :-)

TheHip144931d ago

ye how could Microsoft not notice this

Rush4931d ago

Do you honestly think not a single of the 90,000 people working at Microsoft didn't notice this lol?

It's a cause of not caring sure some family's will cheat the system but most of Kinects target market won't have the first clue about this bypass.

And do you honestly think Microsoft loses out of much after said person has bought a 360, kinect and kinectimals?

It's just a dropped the ball fail troll article.

Whiskey4931d ago

Actually I wrote the article - I just had him submit it because I was heading out.

I have Kinect, and almost all the Kinect launch games. My kids LOVE Kinectimals. I didn't write this to troll - merely to point out the flaw here. Why make a LE that serves no real purpose now, when you can just go online and get the picture?

Why does everyone yell "troll" the moment anyone say anything they disagree with?

rezzah4931d ago

@ Whiskey

Because its okay to troll but not let others troll you (what you like).

=P

Nitrowolf24931d ago

same thing happened with eye of judgment where you could just print out the cards, although i think they fixed it or just went with digital card packs instead

ArtSword4931d ago

You could print out the scanned cards, but in order to access the card content in game, you had to download the software upgrade, etc. and buy the card packs. I'm not 100 percent sure though.

Whiskey4931d ago

I thought it was that you could use the printed cards offline, but online there was something that checked what you had....I can't remember for the life of me

lexington4931d ago

only ps fanboys would think that microsoft dropped the ball. Kinect is state of the art technology and move is just a wii wanna be in HD.

ALFAxD_CENTAURO4931d ago

Another Multiple Troll account.

Fanboys are getting ridiculous.

Kinectimals Review | AppGamer

Since the beginning of time, man has sought to dominate the creatures of the wild, while children have tried their hardest to squish out their fuzziness. Owning a real animal requires time, patience and frequent carpet cleanings; while for the low price of $2.99 on Google Play and iOS and little heavy lifting, Microsoft Studios brings you an adorable (virtual) wild animal of your very own.

Kitten Assassins and The Top 10 Cats in Games

Cats and kittens are the fuel that keeps the Internet muttering “Aww,” and flooding every social media channel available with adorable, fluffy overload until Cute Induced Cardiac Arrest is the inevitable result. Everything is better with cats. The Earth itself knows this, as it allowed a huge rock to kill off all those ugly, scaly dinosaurs just to make way for cats. Unfortunately, it’s logistically impossible for cats to be everywhere, but that doesn’t mean we have to live with this situation. For example, when we get our hands on Unity in November, Arno and his band of Assassins will be stupid, regular old humans.
