1UP: Ys: Oath in Felghana Review

So really, the problem with Oath in Felghana isn't that it feels lacking in the wake of Ys Seven; it's that arriving so soon after its successor, and right in the thick of the big fall game rush, it's in dire risk of being overlooked. It deserves to be played, though. It's a lean action RPG, short, satisfying, short on excess and long on tightly crafted play. Ys has had a bumpy history in the U.S., but if this is an indication of how good the series can be, hopefully it's here to stay.

Oath at Fhelgana, Seven, Memories of Celceta and Lacrimosa of Dana are amazing games. I adore the Ys series, and Adol is one of my favorite JRPG characters ever.
