I could make a million different Bond references in this review and none of them would make sense if applied to Blood Stone. Blood Stone is a fairly vast departure from any of the previous Bond games, straying more towards the nature of the recent Daniel Craig era of Bond films. Bizarre Creations has taken it upon themselves to revamp the series with the removal of most Bond gadgets and has replaced them with a game influenced by parkour. Taking cues from Bizarre’s previous efforts such as The Club and Project Gotham, Blood Stone is born into a world of fast melee combat and explosive driving sequences. While the changes are immense, Bizarre only somewhat captures the intensity of Craig’s persona.
GF365: "Here are our picks for the ten most underrated third-person shooters that you might not have played before or even known about."
Actually great list TBH I agree with all 10
I hope one day we get some remakes for the following
The saboteur(with a proper remake and quality of life features this game could be great)
Scarface world is yours
Binary domain ( such a great game with great story)
GUN(this needs a remake)
Space marine 40k(such fun time)
Would also like to suggest adding the mercenary series even the 2nd game which is disliked by many is a fun time
I recently finished Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine and found it to be very enjoyable.
The game respected the lore and the gameplay was quite decent.
The color palette was a bit underwhelming (backdrops and setting) and recycled but I think that it deserved better.
Here's hoping for an amazing sequel
From Eurogamer: "Staff from two big-name former UK studio are teaming up for a new set of projects.
Wushu Studios, which is largely made up of ex-Evolution staff members (think MotorStorm and Driveclub) is joining forces with Lucid Games, which is largely filled by former Bizarre Creations talent (think Project Gotham Racing)."
I just want Sony to hire Evolution staff back and make Driveclub 2. I believe after all the delays and problems Driveclub had in the beginning damaged the relations between Sony and Evolution, but in the end, Evolution did all they promised and much more, and Sony was to proud to "forgive" them and keep them as "internal studio".
Jerry from BagoGames says, "Everyone has fond memories of Goldeneye and wishes for the Bond games of yesteryear: does Blood Stone have a chance of taking down the top contender?"
I remember this being pretty damn good. I might replay it soon on PS3.
Who needs backwards compatibility? 😏
I was surprised at how much I enjoyed Blood Stone, it's not perfect but it's a lot of fun, give it a chance; especially if you're a Bond fan!
I'll be trying this out soon, can't pass up a 007 game!
