Let's face it, no matter what game is included it will be an instant fail when you compare PREFERENCES instead of game quality.

I don't know about you guys, but both Forza 3 and Alan Wake are highly rated games. I don't play racers, but I enjoyed Alan Wake immensely.

I still haven't played Alan Wake yet but it's on my list of must buys as soon as I get through some other games I've been chipping away at. $299 for the 250GB Xbox and two games, and two good games at that, should be enticing for anyone who hasn't yet picked up an Xbox. Even though I do most of my gaming on my PS3, the Xbox is 10 times the game machine the Wii is. Considering a Wii and two games like this would probably set you back $280, might as well spend the extra $20 and get a real game machine if you're looking for value.

This is actually not a horrible deal. I don't hate it.

It doesn't blow me away, nor will it convince me to trade in my 360-Fat, but it's solid. If I was buying a 360 for the first time, this would be the package I jumped on.

Think he means "Ultimate Edition" which contains all the DLC. I expect thats what they'll include other wise it's a bit of a kick in the nuts.

Also, a download version of AW is a pain if you dont have the net (unlikely these days) or just want to play it asap. Disc would of been better.

This is a great deal two games for free... sounds nice But I am not sold because GT5 will be out by then... and alan wake is not really a must play in my eyes. I wont be spending 350 just to get these games for free when little big planet will be coming out so soon as well as 10 other that are exclusive to the PS3... Next year will be dominated by PS3 exclusives and I need to save up.

Dude, there are others. Mass Effect is pretty f*cking cool and you can get it for $20. I think ME2 is also $20. Think "Dragon Age", except that they don't suck.

Granted, lately the 360 has sucked pretty hard for exclusives, but the old ones are still worth playing and can be had for cheap.

If you can't afford it that's cool, but not really relevant.

Both are good games, but I still don't think the bundle will appeal to that many. Forza 3 is fairly old now, but Alan Wake is really good for the most part. Now if they did a Fable 3/Alan Wake bundle I think it would have been much better!

I think if they just included a buttload of Live points to let the user select what to download, that would be the ideal option. Wasn't that the whole purpose of the points system in the first place? To support this kind of thing?

I'd grab Limbo, Mass Effect, and that Final Fight/Magic Sword update.

Why are they offering a bundle without Kinect? Makes no sense to me. If they want to see this tech take off they should be including it automatically in every bundle after Nov. 4th launch. Even if the games in the bundle are not Kinect...put it in there with a demo Kinect disc. Just seems silly.

No, I totally get many dont necessarily want it...wont go out of their way to buy it, etc... but if you in a sense make it the new standard for bundles then you help increase the install base for the new tech with every new console sold.

Is this deal good? I am thinking about getting a 360, but I can't decide whether to get a 4GB or 250GB, since I can save money with the 4GB and buy some other cheap HDD but I don't know if that is a good idea...

I would go with the 250GB cause only official HDDs work on the 360 and they cost a bomb.

you could add up to 2 usb sticks at up to 16Gb each for up to 32gb extra storage. But if you think you would want more get the 250gb one. They sell the HD for more than the 100 difference right now. I was hoping that they would release a 80 or 100GB HD for like 50$ but they are not that smart.

If they released a smaller HD for 50$ it would be a good idea and they could sell more content. If they ever have a smaller chaper HD Ill upgrade my old one maybe.

for $299. ps3 has blueray player and free online and web browser and is the better system with most exclusives. infamous and batman AA were the blueray disc versions and are highly rated games that everyone would want to play.
