IGN: LEGO Universe Review

LEGO Universe is what people in the real-estate industry would call a fixer-upper. There are a lot of issues that mask the elements that sets Universe apart from other MMOs, including bugs, strange gameplay choices and a general lack of content. If all you want to do is build, LEGO Universe might provide the perfect outlet for your creative juices at a fraction of the cost of actual LEGO, but you will have to contend with the multitude of issues that plague the wider game.

A simple google search would have helped you to find more successful MMOs. There's guild wars, runescape, maple story, aion, city of heroes, flyff, and age of conan. They may not be in the same league as world of warcraft, but they're still successful.

Warhammer was a lot more successful then AOC, I wouldn't Consider AOC successful... However EVE is probably more successful then all those imo.

Often it is asked why Lego hasn’t done Minecraft. After all, the formula fits. You put blocks on to other blocks to create something blocky and wonderful, fresh from your imagination. Surely that just screams Lego.

It seems that they tried with Lego Universe, but how do you make a kid-friendly Lego MMO when almost everybody seems intent on building penises?
