Activision has taken it down, Damn they're fast.

zeddy4947d ago

slieght of hand and steady aim in the same perk category?! that blows. i've been using that combo since cod 4.

Ninja - Silent Movement
Ninja Pro - Louder Enemies, completely silent.

Doesn't make any sense that a perk cancels itself out. Stupid.

Jack-Pyro4947d ago

Nope, it makes it so your silent, but you can hear enemies better, that's gonna be a huge advantage in S&D.

StanLatMarveldotCom4947d ago

Everybody will use Ninja Pro, making the perk worthless. A perk shouldn't cancel itself out; that's not balanced. That's like if Ninja Pro and Sitrep pro were one perk. There has to be trade off; it's either you want to be completely silent or hear enemies louder, choosing one or the other should give you an advantage but there is a counter balance.

ScoobyDrew4946d ago (Edited 4946d ago )

wait, how does that cancel out? you become silent, and your enemies get louder... that seems pretty ninja-like.

No Way4946d ago (Edited 4946d ago )

When I first read his comment, I thought the same thing.
What the hell..?

But, when I re-read it and thought about it.. I think it cancels because:
If I have that perk on, it makes me silent but you loud.
Now, if you too have that perk on, it makes you silent me loud.
Therefor, it would make us both loud, when we posed to be quiet.

Or.. well something like that, ^_^ Hahah. Hope that helps.

ScoobyDrew4943d ago

ahhh i see... so maybe it only applies on those who aren't using ninja?? kind of like sit rep pro

So much for taking out unlimited sprint. I guess it is good that at least unlimited sprint requires Marathon Pro.

@below

Yeah I do not mean to suggest that it is a good thing overall, just that at least it won't be available at the start. However it is true that Marathon Pro will probably only require you to sprint x number of miles.

ShabbaRanks4947d ago

And I dont think that its a good thing ...

captain-obvious4947d ago

yah about killzone3
i just found out that you could have an LMG as your secondary weapon

now WTF is that ??

ddurand14947d ago

but marathon pro probably only requires you to sprint X amount of miles before you get it.

I was kind of disappointed when I saw that as well. Everything else seems fairly balanced though.

I hope that they return hardcore mosh pit. that perk where you change the contents of the care package could really come in handy.

vickers5004947d ago (Edited 4947d ago )

Well, sh*t.

JeffGUNZ4946d ago

Marathon isn't the problem. Leight weight with marathon was ridiculous. Then, people put marathon, light weight, and commando, which made it plain silly.

Surprised as well to see unlimited sprint in here, but glad it wont mess up my usual rush classes from MW2

AllroundGamer4947d ago (Edited 4947d ago )

see some nice new strategies implemented like the hacking, changing package item or reviveing last chance teammates also the flak jacket will be useful against napalm mostly during an objective game.

Black Ops 1 Nuketown versus Cold War Nuketown '84

From DownSights: "Black Ops is not Black Ops without Nuketown. Following the tradition of releasing Nuketown for Black Ops games, the new Black Ops Cold War game also offers a revamped Nuketown called Nuketown '84.

Nuketown '84 has the same dimensions and map layout except for the aesthetics. The map's aesthetics have changed to fit the 80s theme, with destroyed buildings and graffiti-filled walls compared to a clean 50s suburban neighborhood seen in Black Ops 1."
