Look at any European pre-order charts (if there are) and I bet you combining UK and Germany alone (excluding France, Spain, Italy etc.) will have pre-orders exceeding North America. Without a doubt.

I bet you there are close to a million pre-orders in Europe alone.

EDIT: Also, GT5 doesn't even have a release date.

I usually wait til the last week to pre order games. I just pre ordered God Of War: Ghost of Sparta yesterday but I've been planning on buying it ever since it was announced. I still haven't pre ordered GT5, COD:Black Ops or The Sly Collection.

I've been through this before, people should care about sales numbers to a point. Think of an original game that you really liked. If it performs well, it will get a sequel, something that chances are you will be glad to hear. However, if a game performs poorly, it isn't going to get a sequel, so you miss out!

GT5 preorders dropped becuz of the delay. It'll pick back up when an official release date is announced. Fable 3 is looking real good. I feel sad for GOW Ghost of Sparta becuz it will be pirated.

Why would you ignore Europe??? GT5 sells the best in Europe, just like Halo sells best in NA. Of course GT5s pre-orders aren't huge in NA, it's Sony's weakest territory. Look at the life to date sales for Halo in Japan and you'll know what I'm talking about.

the gt series has sold twice as much as the halo series.you really don't know gt fans do you?..go look at the sales charts for gt and you'll get a idea as to why gt will outsell any halo game.

none of sony products sell well in America just like Xbox doesnt sell well in Japan what only counts is EU since xbox is american brand and sony is japanese brand
