MTV: Maxis has yet to give us a great lean back version of "The Sims." I feel like that has a lot to do with the PC-focused legacy of "The Sims" than anything else. Even console-exclusive joints like "The Urbz " continued to utilize many of its brethrens' mechanics and systems, making for a cumbersome, if not completely clumsy, title despite Maxis' (and Electronic Arts') obvious aspirations for "The Sims" console domination. Alas, things were supposed to be different this time around with the release of "The Sims 3" for consoles, and while I'd love to scream mission accomplished I just... can't.
A voice actor for The Sims spoke about his experiences doing voice work for the game's fictional Simlish language, and how there was no dictionary for them
The Sims franchise has been a part of my life ever since the first game came out. It was one of two games I camped outside of a store for, the other one being Black & White.
Maybe you've got a favorite game from the olden days you never get rid of. Maybe you're a scrupulous uninstaller and you don't have anything from before 2013 on your pristine PC. Maybe you've got something from the 1990s taking up several whole megabytes you completely forgot about.
Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis.
I did have Loom but I didn't like it.
I've been replaying a bunch of old adventure games, lately. I had been playing a bunch of text adventures, but those are uninstalled now. At the moment, the oldest thing I have installed is Sierra's Police Quest Collection. When I'm done with that, I'll be moving on to Space Quest, Quest for Glory, and finishing with the best: King's Quest.
I think its pointless to have the game on consoles specialy when most of their audience plays it on PC (teen girls).
I know that men play it to but those men play on PC because they prefer that way, right?
I think that Spore for consoles would be a better idea since its all about sharing among friends their creations and stuff (ala LBP).
Its fun for like 10 minutes after you intentionally kill one of your Sims by starvation by blocking them into the bathroom until they die. Then you realize its time to go play a real game.
how would blocking sims from going to the bathroom lead them to starve to death?
Sounds good to me :) All I wanted was the PC version put onto the consoles so I can chillout and play it. Looking forward to this. My only concern is with the PC version's expansions, including one which is being released on the same day as the console game - will these hit the console in some form?
Be a nice little fill in game when you cant be botherd shooting.
