Some games set standards for future games to come, while others take old formulas and completely reinvent them. And some games simply copy a previous game, and while uninspired, are good enough to play. Quantum Theory, on the other hand, is a Gears of War clone that can’t even copy the formula down properly and comes off as an example of what not to do when you want a game to be successful – poor mechanics, confusing and uninteresting story, and repetitive gameplay.

Nah most of the Soulslike games turned out pretty good. Probably the only one I didn't much like was Immortal Unchained.

with Quantum Theory, I played the demo and was not impressed. I felt like they were trying to mix Gear of War with Lost Planet, and didn't do either very well. May be someone who never played either would have a blast with it though.
Yeah, I played the demo too but couldn't finish it....the thought of therapy was too much lol
I followed this game forever until I finally came out. I got it and loved every bit of it. Originally supposed to be a PS3 exclusive. It got horrible reviews and I didn't understand any of them. They must've been playing a different game then me!
game journalists and their sheeps alike are ruinning the game industry for their own personal agenda and spreading propaganda instead of actually telling the truth about games. to each his own, i know that quantum theory is a slight copy cat game of gears of war and because of that, sheeps play it and judged it on the merit of gears and not for what it is. quantum theory is a good game but not great, so i dont see why there is this permeating negative propaganda rederic going on for this game.
