Sometimes it’s not immediately obvious how good a game is, until an alert notification from the iPhone states that the once fully-charged device is getting low on power. The hours have gone by completely unnoticed because that game is so engaging. Game Dev Story by Kairosoft for the Apple iPhone/Touch/iPad is that game.

Kairosoft games are on the Nintendo Switch now! It makes a lot of sense. These are strategy games that were designed to be played on a small screen on the go. Making the leap from a mobile device to a console would provide more exposure and help point out that these are more than brief novelties. Each game does have quite a bit of depth to it. But, there is something even more important to note about these titles.

I just wish that some of these cool iPhone/smartphone apps would come out for those of us on a simpler phone, or at least a way to play....like throw it on the Xbox network or such.
