Jon writes, "If I were a mad scientist specialising in genetic mutation, the last place I’d look to with a view to taking over the world would be plant-life. Yet Big Bad Flower concerns a twisted genius who’s unleashed a sentient bubble-blowing sunflower on mankind. Yes, really. Unfortunately, the game isn’t half as interesting as the premise."
GameDynamo - "Yes! More free games for iPod Touch, iPhone, and iPad! Thanks to Blacksmith Games' "Appvent Calendar", today BIG BAD Flower is being given away for free. This evil little plant fights creatures, aliens, and robots of all sorts right in the backyard. Fight along and watch your flower grow!"
Everyone likes big monsters, whether it be Godzilla-like beasts or Katamari balls. There’s just some kind of macho fascination with giant, indestructible things that are hell-bent on terrorizing the Earth. Flowers, though – flowers are tough.
AppSmile: "The creation of a mad scientist, our genetically-altered sunflower seeks world domination by ensnaring enemies within bubbles and spinning his petals to blow away the opposing forces. The flower takes center stage as enemies ranging from fellow fauna to more advanced life forms attempt to snap his stem through direct attacks and hurtling projectiles."
