GameFocus writes: "I’ve always been skeptical of digital pinball. There’s just no way a console controller or a computer keyboard can replicate the feel of having your hands splayed on the sides of a real pinball table while scrutinizing the ball’s path in an attempt to time the perfect shot. However, with arcades being a niche entity at best here in North America, digital pinball is pretty much the only means to experience the creative splendor the various tables."
Since the initial release of Zen Pinball back in 2009, Zen Studios have supported their spectacular game (see our review) with six unique and brand spanking new tables available through the PSN store. Each costs $2.49 and are all as diverse as the first four included on the game. This DLC is by no means a cheap way to milk extra dollars out of a game, and the Paranormal table definitely proves this by being just as in depth as the previous tables, if not more so.

Zen Pinball: Paranormal is exactly what you'd expect it to be: a well-designed and well-themed table filled to the brim with secrets. Paranormal is par for the course, which means it's a must-download if you enjoyed Zen Pinball. I just can't imagine anyone not enjoying the game to begin with."
For our money, Zen Pinball has been the best pinball game up to now on the PlayStation 3 and we’ve been lucky that they continually support it with new tables. Following up on the release of the Mars offering, we now have the Paranormal table to sink our teeth in to. So how was it, we hear you ask?
