Although, both demos have been out for sometime now on Xbox live marketplace and PlayStation Network, we thought it was the perfect opportunity to compare these two version right before they offically hit store shelves tomorrow morning. The Xbox 360 Color looks much better.

They look pretty much identical except for the slightly brighter/whiter look on the X360 which I guess will be all but unnoticeable.

The PS3 version is clearer. The 360 version of Castlevania was a bit sharper in the same way this game is a bit sharper for PS3 yet it was claimed to look the same lol.

the 360 version looks blurry in a couple of the pics, but in motion you probabaly wouldnt even notice.

Actually donkeydoo post is typical of a fanboy in denial. It wass not enough to state something false (the xbox version looking better) but he goes as far as saying that it looks MUCH better.

The xbox version is sub hd so it looks washed.

*Xbox 360 version is brighter and blurrier due to the lower resolution.
(PS3 is 720p and Xbox is 640)

*And Castlevania looked pretty identical, but the PS3 version still performed better.

hmm anger for me saying there is no difference...oh its niceguywii60 lol. Both look extremely similar and I'm sure teh slightly deeper colors on the PS3 will only be seen on these close comparisons.

look at that another win for the ps3, vanquish, castlevania and force unleahsed 2 were also WAY better on ps3.

360 aint even got multiplats going for it now, looks like fitness games only for niceguy et al.

The PS3 is the winner, period.

PS3 version= HD
XBOX 360 = SUB HD

But I gotta say, I can't tell much difference between the 2.

Oooh new slider feature. 360 looks like it's using that old blurry AA found on some PS3 games (quin something or other) and it aint working to well, and someone washed most of the colour out.

xbox version looks a little washed due to a slightly sub hd resolution. PS3 is 720 native.

Resolution shouldnt impact colour contrast. What surprises me from that link is the complete lack of AA on the game. Pretty poor.

Edit: Blurry yeah, not washed out. Also your talking maybe 6% resolution difference, not really much, but explains those few more jaggies.

Ps3 version takes the cake here. It has the better resolution and better contrast. Anyone who says otherwise is blind. Unless you like the washed out brightness of the 360 version.

Ps3 graphics are slightly better and it performs better. Yes, it does. Frame rate drops are pretty noticeable in the 360 demo. Sorry 360 fanboys.

Would someone please enlighten me on the point of these comparisons. I just dont get it, if one verson has one more fps or one more pixel does that make that version more enjoyable? I understand why its important to spred the word if something major is astray(ps3 orange box, 360 ff13/ue3) but this is just ridiculous.

When i decide which verson to get my priorities goes something like this. (if online: number of xbl/psn friends having it it)->(price differences)->(gamepad/genr e)But maeby that one fps difference is the difference between a masterpice and a really crappy game...

Ignorance and hypocrisy obviously. These same people who boast about slight graphical differences were probably buying all of their multiplats on the PS2 last gen.

Don't care about graphical advantages. I still buy all of my multiplats on my PS3 unless the port job is REALLY bad... then I start to question if the game is worth it at all.

I see your point, thought i was missing something. Well most of my multiplats get bought on my ps3 as well, simply because my psn friends list is larger, and i suppose the scratch resistant bluerays are a plus to, seriously why dont they put that on dvds? it makes no sense!
