eGamer Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 Review

Naruto: Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 is a healthy step forward for the series, but is also an unfortunate step backwards. Still, the game is any fan’s dream and is undoubtedly as fun and enjoyable as ever. It’s just unfortunate that it all begins so slowly and it takes so long to get to what makes this game truly great. But if you’re one of those die hard Naruto fans, and especially if you loved the original title, then us being critical about this game shouldn’t matter to you and there will ultimately be no regret in making this purchase.

Hi :)
As the writer of the review, I'd just like to point out that this was in my conclusion "if you’re one of those die hard Naruto fans, and especially if you loved the original title, then us being critical about this game shouldn’t matter to you and there will ultimately be no regret in making this purchase."

I basically said to ignore the rating if you're a real fan of the game/anime (in the discussion section I specifically said that if you're a die hard Naruto fan, then you'll probably get by with upping the rating by 2 points, ending up with "Good" on my scale).

I agree with you, it's a really fun, great game, but as an overall game, which includes all aspects of it, there's a lot wrong with it. :)

If you're a fan, buy this game. That's what I have to say.

Famitsu is a Japanese gaming magazine, so they're probably Naruto mad :) I'm not discrediting their review at all, as hell, I'm a big fan of Naruto myself, but I'm just pointing it out. :)

CyberConnect2 will close its Montreal studio in July

Developer CyberConnect2 confirmed the incoming closure of its satellite office in Montreal, Canada. At the end of July, it'll be shutting down its only other office beyond the main one stationed in Fukuoka, Japan.

The Montreal office opened in 2016, 20 years after the developer was originally founded. Its statement noted that the second office "led CyberConnect2 on a creative journey in the development of tools and cutting-edge techniques used in creating games."

No mention was made in the developer's statement about if it will offer any severance or transitional help to those about to be laid off.

Yeeeesss!!!! I hope they vary up the dungeons, but I’m so happy this is a thing

MadLad427d ago

I wouldn't mind some cleaned up remasters of the originals. Those are the ones I have real nostalgia for.

It was always mind boggling they released the .hack g.u. but never the originals. To this day I still never opened them waiting on the originals

FinalFantasyFanatic427d ago

I'd like the original games to be released again, I couldn't get into them the first time around.

BISHOP-BRASIL427d ago

Now I'm almost happy it was just a joke.

"Let Me Solo Her" Receives A Special Award From Namco Bandai For His 1000th Victory Against Malenia

Immersed Gamer writes: "Let Me Solo Her is a legendary Elden Ring player who mastered one of the most infamous bosses to help his fellow tarnished via co-op. And for his service, he received an award from Namco Bandai to commemorate his 1,000th victory. The reward in question is a real, and extremely dope, custom-made sword.

Malenia is regarded as the hardest boss in Elden Ring, and the relentless Tarnished has defended literally thousands of hosts against this malice. Let Me Solo Her apparently passed 2,000 Malenia kills a while back, but it’s hard to measure the exact count he is at now. Bandai Namco sent the gift his way when he was at around 1,000 kills. But due to the nature of the object, it got stuck in customs for a while!"
