Medal Of Honor demo lands on Marketplace

Surprisingly, the MOH Airborne demo has hit marketplace today, despite earlier reports of a Monday 27-08 release. Check it out.

and I don't think I'm going to buy this game. I don't know, it just doesn't feel right. I like that you can peak around corners though, that works pretty well. The graphics are a bit dissapointing I think.

That sucks. I've been waiting for this one too. I know it won't be as good as COD but I had higher hopes for this game.

I just played it for 10 minutes and I'm used to COD, maybe if I play it a bit more I'll like it better, it appears to be a pretty big demo so I'll have another go.

When i first played this i compared it to much with call of duty 2&3. complaining about the controls not being the same a health system requiring medkits but taking your time with it.It does get better.The controls will feel odd at first but you should get used to them.Where the controls do shine are in the aiming when you aim down the sight of your gun you can use the left stick to move your character you can lean left right duck go prone look over a wall in a few seconds and you will have to do this because its quite hard even on mediun so you will need to use cover alot.having to use health packs is annoying but at least some of your health does regenarate. It works the same as resistance fall of man on the PS3. by no strech of the imagination is it better than call of duty but it is definatly the best medal of honor game yet and to be honest it had to be compared to past medal of honor games rising sun anyone!

.. and try for myself. I was a HUGE MOH fan. Actually, it was MOH that got me into COD.

COD2 is hard to beat and COD4 will be untouchable IMO. COD3 ... well ... I still wish I could have skipped that waste of money.

which MOH, for me MOH Allied Assault was my intro to WW2 fps. The devs behind it quit to form Infinity Ward. Pacific Assault was a disappointment(after Pearl Harbor it went down)

Im not even going to rent this game the controls are garbage and the AI is terrible worse I have ever seen in my life. I might MIGHT buy this game when I see it in EB games for like 5 bucks. Call of duty 2 on the 360 is way better then this. Very disappointing EA.

what is wrong with EA nowadays? most of their games end up disappointing.
MOH has so much potential and pretty big following, they should've spent more time on this title. way to ruin a franchise EA.

call of duty 2 is goin to be one hell of a game to beat ... cod 3 had much better graphics but the atmosphere was not there .... cod 2 is my most played game atm still after 2 years (online)and im crap at it

I must be the only person that actually preferred Call of Duty 3 over Call of Duty 2... at least multiplayer wise. I thought that Call of Duty 3 multiplayer had a LOT more strategy and pure chaos than Call of Duty 2 which was just point and shoot and nothing else. The classes and rank in Call of Duty 3 was fun and interesting too. I haven't gotten my hands on Call of Duty 4 yet but it doesn't look that interesting or fun in my opinion. Shooting people from distances across the board... I'll pass.

its a good game mostly because it offers a WW2 option when C O D doesn't(COD4 looks great btw) if your not tired of them yet that is.
you can change the controls to play more like COD 2&3 if you want. and the gun upgrades are pretty cool you just have to remember that when your aim sux its because you've got some up grading to do first(don't start out expecting the M1 to be just like in COD at first).
grfx are just fine the only thing that was odd, was it felt a little floaty but not bad just Deferent that COD.
i played the whole demo and wish there was more. i would buy it if i wasn't buying like 6 other games in the next 2 months. so far i'd give it an 8/10 tho it could go up or down after playing the full game.

Especially after I got used to the controls. The weapons actually pack a punch. Something COD 3 lacked. Enemies didn't spawn behind me, and the graphics were good as well. If the multiplayer is as good, im definitely selling COD and getting this.

After spending about an hour with the demo i think this game is certainly a worthy addition to the WW2 Type FPS. everyone expecting WW2 to be call of duty( of which i am a huge fan) might be disappointed. having said that one should never expect that from this title otherwise they might have called it call of duty airborne. This is a great game in its own right, the weapons are powerful, sound great. Graphics are on par with what you expect out of an Xbox 360 game and the game play is certainly solid. All of you call of duty fans can switch your controls to user 2 in game options for something very similar to call of duty's button layout.
I like the non linear approach to this game and with hopefully a solid online experience this title will definitely be a must buy.
i encourage everyone to play this game for at least an hour before final opinion.
