The Scoop: Take control of the Lords of Earth, Sea, Air, and Fire and battle through the world of Gorm in order to save Earth from Magmion, the evil Lava Gormiti.
Zach writes: 'There’s a certain charm to children’s cartoon shows, that is impossible to recreate in live-action. I’m a huge fan of many of them – Star Wars: The Clone Wars and X-Men: The Animated Series are both exceptional looks at their source material.'.
The Gormiti franchise, which spawned collectible cards and action figures, has finally made its way to the Nintendo Wii. Instead of developing a card-based game like Pokemon or Yu-Gi-Oh, the developers decided to create a 3rd person platform brawler that is easy to play.
Game Vortex: "If you happen to have a pre-teen in the house, you'll know that Gormiti: The Lords of Nature! is all the buzz right now. Eclipsed only slightly by the onslaught of Bakugan and Beyblade, Gormiti has managed to become a strong toy brand. Part collectible-card game and part miniatures action, Gormiti: The Lords of Nature! also has the benefit of a running television presence on Nickelodeon. It's a perfect opportunity for some licensed gameplay, so we were surprised to find this DS entry seriously lacking in curb appeal."
