A Look at Black Ops Single Player Gameplay and Story

This latest Call of Duty: Black Ops trailer gives us a much better sense of what we can expect from the upcoming shooter, both the story and gameplay.

Treyarch and Activision's debut of the trailer on ESPN tonight couldn't have been timed better with Medal of Honor due to hit store shelves tomorrow morning.

we'll see if those cut scenes translate into intense/fun/fresh outside the box gameplay. MW2 SP suck balls, didn't even finish it.

The story of MW2 was shite yes but I thought the single players set pieces and game play were pretty solid. It was one of the few things I actually liked about MW2.

After seeing a ton of MOH commercials during Monday Night Football I finally got to see the Black Ops commercial during the 3rd qtr.

Black Ops overall looks like a better game versus MOH or at least had a better commercial.

Treyarch has promised dedicated PC servers (unlike that MW2 crap) so I will check out Black Ops if it's worthy.

There's millions of gameplay footage online. This game is not hidden like IW does Modern Warfare. You can see MP and SP gameplay all day long if you look. They already showed a few levels(snow and tunnel rat). Next time you come late to the party...at least bring common sense

Oh look they reskinned MW2. They have another on rails driving sequence where you can move left and right. This time it is a motorcycle and a shotgun so it is original. Same unbalanced MP with shotguns and grenade launchers attached to assault rifles and now even flamethrowers. Can not wait.

Yeah the single player has always been quite good even in MW2 it was good even though I hate the multiplayer. WaW had a really good single player imo even though it ripped off quite a few movies like other CoD games. I don't know about Black Ops though, like I said in another comment i'll wait until all (real) reviews are out before I think about getting it.
