Destructoid: Swords and Soldiers PSN Review

With all the extra options available, this is a great title for RTS fans, and castle defense fans as well. It has style, substance, and it had Destructoid smiling as soon as they turned it on.

I guess this is one of those games that gets good reviews, yet I can't understand why. I'd heard such good things about it, so I downloaded the demo. I deleted it quickly. *shrug*

I downloaded the demo and wasn't fond of this game at all. And I'm happy I DID play that demo because I would have been mad if I had bought this game.

But that goes to show you the best "reviewer" is yourself. Not some blogger, website, or magazine

Swords & Soldiers (Nintendo Switch) Review | Cubed3

Switch is quickly becoming the go-to home for indie titles, but it's also receiving a fair amount of remasters of titles from yesteryear. The latest is Swords & Soldiers, an RTS/tower defence from a decade ago. It's not Swords & Soldiers's first foray into the world of Nintendo, with the original appearing on Wii U, back in 2014, followed by a sequel a year later thanks to Kickstarter. Now the original is getting a surprise release on Nintendo hybrid platform.
