NHN announced the signing of a contract for taking over WiseCat, a developer of online baseball game <Slugger>, by purchasing 51% of share.
South Korea’s largest Internet company NHN, with a market capitalization of $11.5 billion, suspended trading on July 30. The reason? It decided to split its search (Naver) and online gaming (Hangame, to be renamed NHN Entertainment) divisions.
NHN Korea has announced the closed beta for Dungeon Striker, an online action RPG developed by EYEDENTITY GAMES behind the world famous title “Dragon Nest”. The game will be later available on China, followed by Japan, North America and beyond.
NHN is going to test <Winning Eleven Online> and <Metro Conflict> in the first half of this year.
