John Daly's ProStroke Golf PS3 Move Review - NowGamer

NowGamer reviews John Daly's ProStroke Golf on PS3 with Move - "You should play John Daly’s ProStroke Golf with Playstation Move – it’s been built from the ground up with the motion controller in mind and it shows. This plays one of the closest approximations to golf we’ve yet seen in a game, with intuitive, natural use of Move and… well, you have to put effort in to hit the ball hard. Which is fun."

Dear PlayStation,

I noticed that most 3rd party developers suck. How do you plan to remedy this?

anh_duong4959d ago (Edited 4959d ago )

they actually said the Move(tm) implementation made the game really good - infact one of the most realistic golf implementation they have ever seen..

read the first paragraph:

"You should play John Daly’s ProStroke Golf with Playstation Move – it’s been built from the ground up with the motion controller in mind and it shows. THIS PLAYS ONE OF THE CLOSEST APPROXIMATIONS TO GOLF WE'VE YET SEEN IN A GAME, with intuitive, natural use of Move..." - Nowgamer review

I did read that. I read the whole thing though. Did you?

It's precise, but it's still not great.

Next Week on the PSN: April 9th, 2013 – Guacamelee!, Spring Fever Sale

We’ve had a flurry of plentiful PSN release weeks lately, and, unless you count all of the Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 micro items expected on Tuesday, it looks like April 9th might be ruining that streak. There’s only a couple new downloadable games arriving, one of them is Guacamelee! though, with no Day 1 Digital Titles making their way to the PSN.

SoundGamer4046d ago (Edited 4046d ago )

ftwrthtx4046d ago

I own neither of those PS+ games, so that's good at least.

SavageKuma4046d ago

Oh wow Fatal Frame that is badass! They might as well give Anarchy Reigns for Free, it was semi fun, but needed some polishing.

TrendyGamers4046d ago

It'll probably be $19.99 or $29.99.

TrendyGamers4046d ago

@Donnieboi

It's a $29.99 game and they may drop the price for the digital release.

Donnieboi4046d ago

Are u talking about Fatal Frame? An old game that has not been available at retail price for almost a decade? How do u know it's worth?

E.V.I.D.E.N.C.E.

please.

Krimmson4045d ago

No dude, he's talking about Anarchy Reigns. NOT Fatal Frame.

In-depth Review: John Daly’s ProStroke Golf - Electronic Theatre

Being the first golf title designed to utilise that PlayStation Move motion-controller obviously has its advantages, as while Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11 has since received a free downloadable patch to incorporate the use of the device, it pales in comparison to the degree of accuracy on offer in John Daly’s ProStroke Golf. From that first strike off the tee to every putt, birdie or sand trap, John Daly’s ProStroke Golf offers one of the best virtual representations that the PlayStation Move has yet produced. Though the motion-controller is still in its infancy, O-Games’ John Daly’s ProStroke Golf has set the bar to which all other sports titles using PlayStation Move will be compared.

GamerPops - John Daly’s ProStroke Golf Review

Like so many of its franchises, EA has the undisputed leader in the clubhouse when it comes to golf games, thanks to their association with (usually) the world’s best golfer, Tiger Woods. But while Tiger and Phil may be the top stars on the tour, and there’s a host of other athletic young stars hot on their heels, there’s another class of golfer, the everyman, who occasionally reaches up to grab the spotlight.
