Microsoft Prices Halo 3 Xbox 360

Microsoft's Halo 3 Special Edition Xbox 360 will retail for £279.99 ($562) from late September. It will not be bundled with a copy of Halo 3 and will be equipped with a 20GB hard drive.

How am I a fan boy? I got PS3 Nintendo DS a top range PC and X360. Which personally I keep getting X360 to repairs. Maybe its because the heat in my country (40 Degrees Cencusles Daily)

Edit: For your Info I have a X360 Core. I bought Core because I am unintrested in paying for Online. I pretty much enjoyed games like GOW even if I didn't play it online, though to that fact it felt too short. Character models are brill but enviroment is just ok. I pretty much Enjoy Forza Motorsport 2, keeps me busy while waiting for GT5 and I also prefer playing Pro Evo on X360 then PS2.

Though lately I bought HDMI TV and my X360 don't have HDMI port and It looks pretty ugly new PS3. At this time Its gathering the dust. I replaying Ninja Gaiden Sigma again (can't wait for download content) and before you tell me go play Bioshock, I am waiting for my copy to arrive from play.com on PC for the simple reason I prefer PC for FPS when given the choice.

And this applies to all the newer 360's, refubished 360's that are on the way back including the ELITE as it has an additional heatsink on the GPU.

I am not happy with the HALO 3 edition, the regular Premium can be purchased for £230 on play.com and an Elite for under £300 this console is ONLY a different colour scheme.

Also the reason why it does not come with HALO 3 as this console is for the absolute die hard fans of HALO and will buy this and probably not use it as they will be purchasing HALO 3 Legendary Edition this will be part of their collection.

I like the colour scheme but the price is a complete rip off if it had 120gb then yeah I would have got one.

It's a marketing scam..... give it a new color scheme, throw in some extra accessories (play and charge) and charge more for it. It's a premium with a new color scheme.

It's meant for Halo fans and I'm sure there will be many Halo fans that will buy it.

But it's not really worth the extra price.

No HDMI, only 20 GB hdd, and not bundled with halo3...this is stupid. The colors are OK at best...only the die hard halo fan will say its teh awesomest....id much rather trade in my premium and get the elite. I wonder who makes these marketing decisions in ms...halo3 xbox but no halo3 game...thats just outright stupid (to me at least).

Now, if it came with a bigger HD--say, the 120--AND a copy of Halo 3, then it would probably be worth it, even to the non-hardcore group. As it is, it's exploiting Halo fans...but have no doubts, it will sell.

your getting a custom limited edition HALO 360 and Halo controller.

Some people think that alone is worth 50 bucks more.

But when you add the custom HALO wireless headset, and a play and charge kit.....then your getting a bargain!!! Those two accessories do not come with the premium.

Anyways..like I said earlier. EVERY kid would much rather have the HALO 360 then the regular premium, as well as HALO fanatics. So they will sell. Same as custom HALO 3 zune sold out everywhere.
