In conversation with Yuji Naka

Critical Gamer writes: The heart of Soho: An area of London that seems to consist mainly of narrow streets which, in turn, seem to consist mainly of buildings offering some form of pornography. Neil pops into the most reputable shop to hand in order to ask for directions, and that shop is Ann Summers. He, Anthony and I are soaked from the rain. Actually, that’s not strictly true. Neil, as a Londoner, has an umbrella taped to one ankle and a moderately large combat knife taped to the other at all times, so he’s okay. The weather’s still miserable nonetheless, but we don’t care; we’re about to meet Yuji Naka (who, I hasten to add, is giving the nearby porn merchants a wide berth).

The guy's a legend, and kudos to him for being determined to stay involved in development.

Awesome interview please make a PS3 and Xbox 360 title

Mondayding4980d ago

Time can only tell, but the fact that he's jacked in the Sega job in favour of getting his hands dirty in development suggests we might see a good game for one, as opposed to the steady stream of dire Sonic codswallop of the last 20 years...

Great to see him developing ideas again, rather than taking the easy option of sitting behind a desk pushing pens! I would like to see him tackle the 360 or PS3 mind you.

lodossrage320d ago

Yeah, the two-tier justice system is a global issue, not just a problem in the U.S.

If you're wealthy, popular, or a politician, the worst that happens to you is a slap on the wrist. For the rest of us.....you get the idea

Demetrius320d ago

Ikr or if you're a well liked celebrity smh, crazy how they think they're gonna live forever, a lot of these politicians need to get humbled

Sonic is the spirit animal Yuji conjured up when he was daydreaming of committing crimes and running away from the police.

Nerdmaster320d ago

And than came Tails because just running away wasn't enough. Flying away would be an even better idea.
And Knuckles if he was actually caught and imagined himself climbing the prison walls to escape.
And Amy if he needed to seduce the guards to... ok, I'll stop here :P

Good, jail time for this is unnecessary.
