Digital Chumps - If you haven't played any of the Atelier games before -- or any of the alchemy games for that matter from Gust (which include the Mana Khemia games) -- fear not. I had only briefly played Mana Khemia 2: Fall of Alchemy on PS2 and Atelier Annie on the Nintendo DS before diving into Atelier Rorona. Despite the series' deep roots, for the most part, the games are independent of other another and you need not have played the previous entries to get the full experience of Atelier Rorona.
Lyam writes: - Atelier Arland Trilogy DX is another collection release, but this time, on PlayStation 4. The games with it are Atelier Rorona: The Alchemist of Arland, Atelier Totori: The Adventurer of Arland, and Atelier Meruru: The Apprentice of Arland, which have all appeared on PlayStation 3, as well as the PlayStation Vita. It’s quite an ongoing franchise with Atelier Rorona is the 11th game in the series and there are more plenty more to come.
I haven't played the Atelier series for quite a while now. Last game I finished was Iris 3, although I didn't really liked it. I love the first one, Eternal Mana. I think I finished Atelier Iris 1 at least three times. I bought Atelier Sophie and played less than 10 hours before I dropped it. Would love to see another game with the Iris level of story telling.
Things get exciting on this episode of This Week in Gaming! From John Carmack joining the team working on the Oculus Rift, to new gameplay footage of The Legend Of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds. Also, tons of weird Japanese games. I hope you brought napkins because things are about to get saucy!
Cripes, I keep seeing this guy posting his videos.
And they're awful. Please stop.
I don't mind that you're a prepubescent. I do mind the constant mumbling and inability to properly pronounce every other word.
There won’t be an Atelier Rorona Plus, but that doesn’t mean gamers won’t be seeing more of Rorona in the future.
Well that's a shame. Gotta grab Totori Plus soon, though, to get the bonus stuff.
Wait, I don't even really care about that stuff. Still want it, though.
